Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are the resident superstars for the Edmonton Oilers, but Zach Hyman is averaging two goals per game in the playoffs.

Hyman, who scored a career-high 54 goals during the regular season, got his fifth and sixth goals of the playoffs in the Oilers’ 6-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. 

Edmonton takes a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference first-round playoff series. Game 4 is Sunday at Crypto.com Arena at 10:30 p.m.

Draisaitl had two goals and an assist, McDavid his first goal of the playoffs and two assists, Evander Kane achieved a Gordie Howe hat trick — a goal, an assist and a fight — while Ryan Nugent-Hopkins collected three assists.
