I’m not the biggest musical fan, but even I can appreciate the brilliance of Damien Chazelle’s fanciful La La Land. Here, Gosling plays Sebastian, an up-and-coming jazz musician who begins a relationship with Emma Stone’s equally ambitious Mia. The film chronicles their difficulty balancing their love for each other with their artistic ambitions, resulting in a moving, albeit sad, exploration of romance set against the backdrop of Los Angeles.

Stone won a well-deserved Oscar for her stellar performance, but Gosling matches her charm every step of the way and proves a capable musician and singer, which is why it lands on our list of the best Ryan Gosling movies.

Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Drawing upon elements of his performance in “Drive,” Ryan Gosling seamlessly embodies the character of Officer K in Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner 2049.” Here, Gosling crafts a multi-faceted, introspective persona brimming with solitude and inner conflict. Initially, K dutifully serves the LAPD, relentlessly pursuing replicants while neglecting his own emotional needs. However, his trajectory shifts when he connects with Joi (Ana de Armas), a holographic companion who professes genuine care for him. Personally, this is my favorite Gosling performance. He knocks it out of the park as K, conveying so much emotion through subtle glances and nuance. You can’t take your eyes off him.

The Nice Guys (2016)

Gosling started expressing his comedic sensibilities with 2016’s The Nice Guys, a buddy cop action comedy in which he and Russell Crowe uncover a tangled web of corruption, conspiracy, and murder involving the adult film industry and the Department of Justice.

Written and directed by Shane Black, The Nice Guys didn’t exactly light up the box office, which is a shame because it remains one of the best comedies of the last decade. Gosling carries the picture on his back, displaying a knack for physical comedy and dry humor. As he did in Drive and Blade Runner, he teases the darker inner workings of his character, allowing us to empathize with his bumbling detective, even as he throws himself off roofs or chases topless women in swimming pools.

Half Nelson (2006)

After a successful stint as a child star and a star-making turn in The Notebook, Gosling cemented his status as an actor-on-rise in the indie drama Half Nelson. Here, he plays Dan Dunne, an idealistic inner-city teacher battling a drug addiction. He eventually develops a relationship with Drey (Shareeka Epps), one that is tested when Dan’s addiction spirals out of control, entangling him in the dangerous world of drug dealing.

Poignant, thought-provoking, and gripping, Half Nelson remains a compelling exploration of the human condition. Bethesda announces that its sci-fi action RPG Starfield is getting a massive new update on May 15. The update adds new features to ship customization, improved surface maps, new gameplay and graphics options, and more.

Massive Starfield update launches on May 15

Starfield’s custom ships are one of the game’s main selling points, though the system has limitations. Bethesda addresses one of those limitations by improving the player’s ability to decorate ship interiors. The main addition is letting them use a similar interface to decorate ships as they use when decorating their base. The update also adds some empty habitation modules for easy customization and gives players more options for door placement.

Meanwhile, Bethesda says it is answering many player’s requests for better surface maps. The new maps replace surface dots with terrain markings and add 3D models for points of interest. The Starfield update also adds map markers for vendors in major cities, letting players travel quickly to them. A later update will also add surface vehicles.

The May 15 update will also let Starfield players change their character’s appearance and Traits when starting New Game Plus. Players will additionally notice some new gameplay options and quality-of-life improvements. These include a new Extreme difficulty and separate difficulty options for ground and space combat. Players can also adjust things like environmental hazards, food effects, the amount of money vendors carry, and carrying capacity. Players can also toggle Starfield’s dialogue camera on and off.

Finally, this month’s update adds new display settings on Xbox Series X. Starfield players using screens with variable refresh rate displays can lock the framerate at 30, 40, or 60 FPS or leave it uncapped. Other Series X users can choose between 30 and 60 FPS.

The Starfield update will also let Series X users decide whether the game should prioritize Visuals or Performance while trying to meet the target framerate. Visuals mode will keep the maximum resolution and level of detail, while Performance mode will lower resolution and LOD as needed.

Mickey Mouse is about to go to war with Winnie the Pooh in a new horror slasher movie, Mickey vs. Winnie.

Per Deadline, Untouchables Entertainment and iHorror have officially begun production on Mickey vs. Winnie, a new horror slasher movie that is directed and written by Glenn Douglas Packard.

The movie, which has no relation to the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey films, prominently features the now-public domain characters from A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh novels and the 1920s Steamboat Willie cartoon.

“The film follows two convicts in the 1920s who escape into a cursed forest only to be dragged and consumed into the depths of the dark forest’s muddy heart,” Deadline’s description reads. “A century later, a group of thrill-seeking friends unknowingly venture into the same woods. Packard is producing Mickey vs. Winnie alongside Rachel Carter and Anthony Pernicka.

Paul Walter Hauser has joined the stacked cast of the still-untitled Naked Gun reboot from Paramount Pictures. According to Deadline, the actor will take on the Captain Ed role, starring alongside previously announced cast members Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson. 

The announcement comes after he was cast in Josh Gad’s planned Chris Farley biopic, setting up another busy year for the actor and professional wrestler. This year alone, Hauser is in the voice cast for Netflix’s animated feature, Orion and the Dark. He will be heard next in Inside Out 2, in which he serves as the voice for Riley’s new emotion Embarrassment. 

Hauser can be seen in movies like I, Tonya, BlacKkKlansman, Late Night, Silk Road, Cruella, Queenpins, and Delia’s Gone, as well as in television shows such as Kingdom, Cobra Kai, and The Afterparty. The actor has also been nominated for various award categories and has won Critics’ Choice Television Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Primetime Emmy Awards for his exceptional portrayal of serial killer Larry Hall in the true crime drama Black Bird, opposite Taron Egerton. 

The character Hauser will next play in the Naked Gun reboot was previously played by George Kennedy in the film series and Alan North in ABC’s Police Squad!.  His other upcoming projects include the crime thriller Americana and the heist thriller The Instigators.

ComingSoon Editor-in-Chief Tyler Treese spoke with Unfrosted stars Christian Slater, Sarah Cooper, and Max Greenfield about the upcoming comedy movie. The trio delved into the wild script and what it’s like to work with so many comedy legends. Unfrosted is set to release on the streaming platform on Friday, May 3.

“Michigan, 1963. Kellogg’s and Post, sworn cereal rivals, race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast,” reads the film‘s synopsis. “A tale of ambition, betrayal, sugar, and menacing milkmen, Unfrosted stars Jerry Seinfeld in his directorial debut.”

Tyler Treese: Christian, your character in this film is so hilarious. The idea of milkmen being the secret syndicate controlling things from the shadows is so hilarious. What was your reaction when you realized the role you had in this film and got to play with?

Christian Slater: I thought it was crazy and outrageous. I was a huge Seinfeld fan, and to get the opportunity to work with him … when we talked about it, I wasn’t sure how authentic they were actually going to be with this time period, but when I heard that I actually got to wear the full-on bow tie and white outfit and the hat, I just felt right at home and fell right into the character.

Sarah, it’s been so great seeing your comedy career really blow up over the past couple of years, and this film is ridiculously stacked with comedy legends throughout. Can you sum up how special it is to be working on a film with such a talented cast and working with Jerry?

Sarah Cooper: I mean, it’s overwhelmingly incredible and special. I got to set my first day, and the call sheet was Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, and Hugh Grant, and that was my first day. And Bobby Moynihan and Thomas Lennon.

Slater: Not intimidating at all!

Cooper: Even the Snap, Crackle, and Pop were so funny. I just loved watching everybody. It was just such a great learning experience. I remember Melissa McCarthy, she did a line, and she didn’t like the way she did it, and right after, she was just like, “That’ll be better next time.” She was so relaxed with it, you know? Adrian Martinez, he said he does one take the way that Jerry wants to do it, and then he does one the way that he wants to do it. So I just got to soak up the different ways that everybody sort of attacked their roles and being on set. It was just a huge, awesome experience for me.

Max, you are hilarious in Unfrosted as well, and you share so many great scenes with Amy Schumer. She even smacks you in one scene. How was it getting to work with her and developing that back and forth? You play off each other so well.

Max Greenfield: I appreciate it, thank you. Having Amy and Jerry, who’s directing, getting to work with both those people in that capacity was … I mean, one, a dream come true, but also very stressful. [Laughs]. But I think what the stress was was sort of finding what that relationship was going to be immediately. Knowing that we had to find it kind of immediately, and thank goodness we did, because once we found it, it was just there and we had fun with it for the entire time. And it allowed Jerry and the writers to really write to it and play with it on their end. When everyone’s working together like that, it’s the best,

Christian, Jerry’s obviously a true legend of comedy, so what was most unique about seeing how he approaches comedic scenes as a director?

Slater: One of the things, when you read the script — certainly playing this character — it was important to not try to be funny. I didn’t want to be over-the-top or playing gags or anything. I took it very, very seriously. I watched The Godfather, tried to get a sense of what the Milkman Mafia might actually be like, and I sort of modeled the character after Luca Brasi.

Robin Roberts is a television broadcaster who has been associated with renowned networks in the past, including ESPN and ABC News. On April 30th, while she was anchoring, it was seen that her wrist was fractured, and she also revealed what actually happened.

Aside from her career in television broadcasting, since a young age, Roberts has also been fond of tennis and basketball. She also used to play these sports during her University days at Southeastern Louisiana, claiming the NCCA title of an influential athlete in 2006. Although she was good at these sports, she didn’t pursue them as a full-time career but rather went for a career in broadcasting.

However, she is keeping her interest in sports alive even now, and recently got wounded in a game of tennis. After a segment got over at GMA, Stephanopoulos revealed that Roberts played Tennis over the weekend and had a little mishap, causing her wrist to fracture. She said the injury was the result of a “little tumble on the tennis court.” She then joked: “Maybe I’ll take up padel. Maybe that’ll be my sport.”

Ubisoft is getting ready to celebrate May the 4th, announcing that a Brawlhalla x Star Wars event featuring Darth Maul as a playable character will arrive in the game.

The new event will see Brawlhalla celebrate all things Star Wars, specifically The Phantom Menace. It will include a new Sidekick, two new Avatars, four new Emojis, a new map, and Darth Maul, who will utilize both a double-bladed and single-bladed lightsaber in battle. He is an agile fighter with some serious jumping abilities due to his agility.

According to Deadline, Emmy nominees Jessica Biel (Candy) and Elizabeth Banks (Modern Family) have signed on for leading roles in the upcoming series adaptation of Alafair Burke’s The Better Sister novel, which just scored an official straight-to-series order at Prime Video.

Biel and Banks will be playing estranged sisters Chloe and Nicky, respectively. In addition to leading the cast, they will serve as executive producers, with Burke tapped as a consultant.

What is The Better Sister about?

“The series explores the terrible things that drive sisters apart and ultimately bring them back together. Chloe (Biel) moves through the world with her handsome lawyer husband Adam and teenage son Ethan by her side while her estranged sister Nicky (Banks) struggles to stay clean and hustles to make ends meet. George Miller has an idea for another Mad Max movie following Furiosa that he’s “certainly working on.”

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Miller explained how he outlined Mad Max’s backstory prior to making 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road and how that played into Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which releases in United States theaters later this month.

“In doing what we did in the preparation of Mad Max: Fury Road, we also wrote what happened to Max in the year before we encounter him in [that film],” Miller said. “And as we get towards the end of [Furiosa], the chronology, basically, we had to see that Mad Max was lurking around somewhere because we do know what happened. The writers know what happened to Mad Max in that year before, and we have a whole story of that, which I would like to do sometime if I get the chance.”

When asked for further details about the ambiguous project, Miller said, “Well, we are certainly working on it. And as I say, we wrote that basically as a novella, and now we’ve got a chance, we will get that into a screenplay form, and then we’ll take it from there.”

Miller directed the first two installments of the Mad Max franchise — 1979’s Mad Max and 1981’s Mad Max 2 — by himself. The third film, 1985’s Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, was co-directed by Miller and George Ogilvie. Miller then returned to the franchise years later with 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road and 2024’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Miller has also previously spoken about making more Mad Max stories following Fury Road as, at one point, he was working on a film titled Mad Max: The Wasteland.

When asked by MoistCr1TiKaL in a recent interview, on why he decided to make Spongebob-themed rap videos, he gave multiple answers saying that it was because he wanted to bring back something from the past, that it started as an “in-joke” between himself and his friends, and that he did it out of boredom.

Has Glorb’s identity been revealed?

Glorb has not yet outright confirmed his identity and it remains hidden as of writing. However, in his recent interview with MoistCr1TiKaL, Glorb was evasive when pressed him for answers regarding his identity. The rapper mentioned that he left breadcrumbs or clues in the lyrics of his various music videos for viewers to find and discern his identity, which MoistCr1TiKaL likened to a “scavenger hunt.”

However, people have speculated that he is U.K. or Australia-based due to several pronunciations in the video, including calling an “inside joke” an “in-joke” — phrasing not typically associated with the U.S.

A Reddit poll from five months ago had various fans speculating Glorb’s identity. One fan claimed he was connected to Yeat since he had Sanikwave’s beat on one of his songs, and another fan suggested he was Trippie Redd and pointed out the similarities in both Redd’s and Glorb’s lyrics in their respective music.

Jonathan van Tulleken has been tapped to head up a TV series adaptation of The Loney, according to Deadline.

Van Tulleken was a director on the hit FX series Shogun and will also direct and executive produce some of the first episodes of Amazon’s Blade Runner 2099 series. After that, he’ll get to work on the adaptation of the Michael Hurley novel of the same name, which New Regency Television International recently acquired the rights to.

The Loney was originally released in 2014, and tells the story of “two brothers on a journey through northwest England where they encounter unnerving secrets and become enmeshed in a series of terrifying events that shape their lives forever.”

No release information or any casting news has been set for The Loney just yet.

Van Tulleken is excited to join the project

“I’m thrilled at the opportunity to adapt The Loney,” said van Tulleken. “Its dark allure, complex characters and twisting narrative are a perfect foundation for a deeply compelling and visually immersive series that is an absolute gift for a director.”

It will look at the creation of the website, moving through the dot.com boom and looking at the people who turned to Ashley Madison and what they were really looking for. Finally, the docuseries explores the hack and how everything came crashing down.

Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal hails from Minnow Films. It is directed by Toby Paton, produced by Chris McLaughlin, and executive produced by Fiona Caldwell and Sophie Jones. Episodes are directed by Zoe Hutton and Gagan Rehill.

Paton opened up about the draw of the series, writing in part: “We all know infidelity can be incredibly destructive and hurtful, but at the same time, the fact that Ashley Madison had 37 million members tells us something else we all know — that committing to one person for the rest of your life is really hard. Rather than berating people who joined Ashley Madison we were much more interested in exploring why they were drawn to the site — what were they looking for? What was going on in their relationships? And crucially — what was their partner’s side of the story?”

Paton goes on to preview the docuseries, teasing the larger-than-life individuals highlighted and highlighting that Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal will go beyond “the familiar true-crime tropes of dark, moody lighting and ominous music.” Paton ends by sharing the hope that the Netflix project will feel unexpected, fresh, and emotional.

Walt Disney Studios has shared the Young Woman and the Sea video for its newest biographical period drama about the life of Trudy Ederle, the first woman to swim across the English Channel.

The featurette shows director Joachim Rønning and the main cast, including Daisy Ridley, as they discussed what the audience can expect from the movie. They also explained why Ederle’s unbelievable story was important to be heard due to her impact in women’s sports. The film debuts in select theaters on May 31.

ComingSoon Editor-in-Chief Tyler Treese spoke with A Man in Full star Jeff Daniels about the new Netflix series, which is based on the New York Times bestselling novel by the late Tom Wolfe. Daniels spoke about showing his comedy and dramatic acting chops in the role, plus discussed the show’s depiction of masculinity. The six-part limited series premieres May 2 on the streaming service.

“When Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Croker faces sudden bankruptcy, political and business interests collide as Charlie defends his empire from those attempting to capitalize on his fall from grace,” says the synopsis.

Tyler Treese: Congrats on A Man in Full. I think this is some of the best work in your entire career. I really love the show. While this is a drama, there are some hilarious moments and deliveries throughout this. How rewarding is it when you get to do a project that gets to show so much of your range?

Jeff Daniels: Well, thank you. It was an easy yes when David E. Kelly and Regina King came to me, and they had this. I had read the first episode before the meeting and I said, “I’m in.” I mean, with those two people, Thomas Schlamme, who’s a veteran director, those three people made it a yes. And then you’re playing someone who’s larger than life who doesn’t know he’s funny but is to the audience, and there’s this descent from a man’s man down to maybe an ordinary person. It’s like a free fall from being so wealthy and then having the bank take away all that money and it’s just like a free fall. That’s fun to play.

It’s a complicated part. It’s tricky. You can’t get caught trying to be funny, and you’ve gotta kind of marry the drama along with the comedy and not get caught leaning towards one or the other. So that’s the challenge of it, and that’s the trick of it. I’m thrilled that I’m one of these actors that gets to play not only comedy and drama, like when the Greeks were holding up two masks, but sometimes at the same time. That’s the little magic trick that’s fun to challenge myself with time and time again.

You mentioned “a man’s man,” so I wanted to ask you about masculinity because your character, Charlie Croker, he’s the guy that refuses to use a wheelchair after surgery because he considers it weak. This show really explores masculinity and the idea of legacy in a lot of ways. So what do you think when masculinity is brought up? What do you think of being a man is because it’s more than “a man’s gotta shake his balls,” as Charlie says.

As Charlie says, yeah. It’s more than that, and certainly, the times have changed here in 2024. That kind of man’s man isn’t necessarily revered the way he was decades ago. It’s not necessarily a goal anymore. Even the man’s man of the world could use a little humanity and sit down and be quiet for a while. I mean, the times have changed and I think David and Regina and Tommy did a great job of kind of blowing that up. It’s watching a dirigible or a blimp, the man’s man blimp, and then it just blows up and falls all the way to the Earth. That’s what A Man in Full does. By the end of the six episodes, it was a fun ride, even though I ended up faceplanting on Earth.

The cast of the upcoming M3GAN sequel, M3GAN 2.0, is growing, with Deadline reporting that Ivanna Sakhno is set to join the cast of the film.

Sakhno, who broke out after her portrayal of Shin Hati in the Star Wars series Ahsoka, is set to join the cast of the highly anticipated sequel. Currently, her role in the project is unknown, although Deadline does describe it as a “major part” in the movie.

Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are both reprising their roles in M3GAN 2.0, though further plot details remain under wraps at this time. Akela Cooper, who wrote the original film, is once again writing the script, while James Wan is producing the movie.

Surprisingly, the musician stated that it was extremely difficult for him to watch the Peter Jackson-directed project because of the Beatles’ struggles and the complicated lives of its members.

And John ducking back because of the moment he was in at the time and George leaving and coming back. Horrible, really, I mean it’s lovely for us to watch, but I’m surprised Paul allowed it.”

According to Guitar.com, the 1970 Beatles documentary Let It Be will be available to stream next month. Directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, this project has been bootlegged several times. However, a fully restored version will be released on Disney+ on May 8, 2024.

Camouflaj and Oculus Studios have announced a new Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game coming late this year. The studio hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming game, though it’s coming exclusively to Meta Quest 3.

Arkham Shadow shares continuity with Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham games and, by extension, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The teaser trailer opens with a shot of Gotham City in the rain. The camera then descends between the buildings, revealing a strange symbol painted on a wall. A rat emerges from around the corner of a wall, and the trailer cuts to Batman’s perspective as he chases it through a back alley. He finally sets down on street level, only for a horde of red-eyed rats to swarm out from the shadows.

The swarm of rats points to The Ratcatcher as a likely antagonist in this VR installment of the Batman: Arkham series. In comics, Ratcatcher is an actual ratcatcher of the Gotham City Sanitation Department with the ability to control rats. Once a relatively obscure villain, his daughter, Ratcatcher 2, is a main character in the 2021 Suicide Squad movie. However, even if Ratcatcher is the villain of Arkham Shadow, the game version will not necessarily resemble earlier depictions.

Camouflaj released its first game, République, episodically in 2015 and 2016. However, it’s arguably better known as the developer of Iron Man VR. The 2020 rail shooter shares a continuity with Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man games. The PS VR version averages a Metacritic score of 73, with the Oculus Quest Port averaging 75.

Pitch People, a never-before-seen documentary about the world of pitches, is set to release on 4K this year.

Directed, written, and produced by Stanley Jacobs, Pitch People was originally filmed in 1999 and saw some screenings in 2000 across smaller film festivals, but it never received a wide release. Now, however, the film will make its way out to 4K on May 17, 2024.

The film features interviews with a variety of sales industry pitch people at the time, including Arnold Morris, Nancy Nelson, Lester Morris, Al Spino, Sandy Mason, Ed McMahon, Jerry Crowley, Joe Fowler, Jan Muller, John Parkin, Chester Nairne, Wally Nash, Jerry Mascuzzio, James Mason, Ian Long, and Harry Matheson.

Netflix recently released a documentary titled Hack Your Health: The Secrets of Your Gut. It delves into the importance of a healthy digestive system. Directed by Anjali Nayar, it was released on April 26, 2024.

According to Tudum by Netflix, our digestive system’s purpose is not just to process food. According to recent studies, poor gut health can be linked to issues such as Parkinson’s disease and weight gain. A healthy digestive system depends on the quality of food a person consumes. Although most are aware of how digestion works, for the oblivious, food first travels from our esophagus to our stomach. Eventually, it moves to the small intestine and then the large intestine. Gradually, our body removes the waste in the form of excrement.

Interestingly, 70% of our immune system is situated in the gut, and the microorganisms in it ensure the smooth functioning of all organs. In Hack Your Health: The Secrets of Your Gut, neuroscientist John Cryan calls the gut the human body’s second brain. He says, “Our gut affects our whole body. The gut really is the second brain.”

Maya said, “If I eat pretty much anything that’s not vegetables, I start getting stomach pains — which makes my job incredibly difficult.” When doctors analyzed her gut health, they concluded that her diet aided her in staying healthy. However, she must diversify her food options for a better digestive system. Furthermore, doctors advised her to consume small quantities of sweets and snacks so that her body gradually gets used to them without any serious consequences.

Daniell Koepke

Daniell Koepke, a clinical psychology doctorate student, has suffered from food-related issues for years. When she was an undergraduate student, her diet was extremely poor, due to which she developed problems such as indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, and constipation. Daniell said, “It’s really hard for me to remember what it was like to eat food before it became associated with anxiety and pain and discomfort.”

Her condition has forced her to depend on a limited variety of food. However, she is now experimenting with fecal microbiota transplantation to improve her digestive health. Unfortunately, this process has also caused some problems.

Kimmie Gilbert

Kimmie Gilbert is a single mother of three and an entrepreneur who struggles to lose weight. To shed pounds, she has done everything – from going on diets to taking weight loss pills and opting for costly gym memberships. Unfortunately, nothing has helped her so far. She wants to take care of her body and be there for her children for a long time. Kimmie stated, “I’ve tried to control my weight all kinds of ways. I would lose a lot, and I would gain a whole lot more.”

When doctors analyzed her gut health, they learned that her body did not have the bacteria required for weight loss. She has now decided to completely change her lifestyle for good.

Kobi Kobayashi

Kobi Kobayashi is a competitive eater who believes his profession has caused irreversible bodily damage. He also says that he never feels hungry and is envious of people who can feel it. Daniel Radcliffe recently shared his views in response to a comment that Rowling made, stating that he will continue to support LGBTQ people and their rights.

In the past, Rowling has said that she wouldn’t forgive Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for their stance on trans rights issues, even if they made a public apology to her. Replying to a comment earlier in April, which asked for the actors to apologize to the author, Rowling wrote:

“Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces.”

The Atlantic asked for Radcliffe’s stance on her message, and the actor said:

“I will continue to support the rights of all LGBTQ people, and have no further comment than that.”

Radcliffe also stated that he is saddened by Rowling’s comments about the trans community. He said:

The voice cast includes Crystal Hairston (Tiny Toons Looniversity, Craig of the Creek) as the voice of Hazel. Susanne Blakeslee (The Loud House, Amphibia) and Daran Norris (The Loud House, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder), meanwhile, reprise their roles as Cosmo and Wanda.

Consisting of 20 episodes, the series will also be available on Netflix internationally. It is produced by Nickelodeon Animation in Burbank. Apple TV+ has released the Presumed Innocent teaser trailer for its upcoming courtroom thriller starring Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal. It’s his first lead role in a major scripted series three decades after his television debut in a 1994 episode of Homicide: Life on the Street.

The video features Gyllenhaal as Chief Deputy Prosecutor Rusty Sabich, who gets accused of killing his close colleague after evidence begins to point in his direction. The miniseries will start streaming on June 12 with the first two episodes.

Based on Scott Turow’s 1987 novel, Presumed Innocent is written and executive produced by showrunner David E. Kelley. The limited drama will also star Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Elizabeth Marvel, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Nana Mensah, Kingston Rumi Southwick, Matthew Alan, and Lily Rabe. Robert Berchtold abducted and sexually assaulted Jan Broberg during the 1970s, starting when Jan was just 12 years old. Berchtold was reportedly a close friend of the Brobergs and almost became a part of their family, to the extent that he was considered a second father figure. The Brobergs and Berchtold were both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This served as a common point for them to bond, BBC reported.

In August 1974, Robert Berchtold fled to Mexico with the Brobergs’ 12-year-old daughter, Jan Broberg. He allegedly drugged her while they were on the way to a horseback riding lesson. She then woke up in a motorhome in Mexico, where someone played out several tape recordings to her. The voices in the recordings told her that she was special and was a scion of a rare alien species.

Robert Berchtold then convinced her that she had to procreate with him to ensure the sustenance of her species. He threatened her that she would be punished if she didn’t comply. He held her there for five weeks and repeatedly raped her. Meanwhile, Bob Broberg and Mary Ann Broberg did not report a kidnapping when Jan disappeared. They trusted Berchtold so much that they thought it would have been a car accident, as per NBC News.

Soon, the Brobergs began getting worried, and the FBI launched an investigation into the disappearance. They tracked Robert Berchtold and Jan Broberg down. They brought them home from Mexico. However, Berchtold managed to avoid charges as he brainwashed the Brobergs. He convinced them to sign an affidavit that stated that they permitted him to take Jan.

NBC News reported that Robert Berchtold brainwashed the Brobergs so powerfully that he managed to abduct Jan Broberg once again, in 1976. Even after his return from that abduction, he wasn’t charged or convicted of any crimes, as he claimed he had a mental illness and was detained in a mental institution for around six months. Jan Broberg, meanwhile, hadn’t revealed to her parents what exactly Berchtold had done for a long time after the kidnappings.

Later, many other women came out with their stories and informed Jan Broberg that Robert Berchtold had also abused them. It was in 1986 that Berchtold was found guilty of the rape of a child. However, he only spent one year in jail. Berchtold disappeared after that. He returned only thirty years later when he began to talk and harass Jan Broberg when she went out to events or spoke about her past. When she accused him of stalking, Berchtold was finally convicted of assault, criminal trespassing, and disorderly conduct. However, before he could be sentenced, he died by suicide in November 2005, according to Distractify.

Abducted in Plain Sight is a true-crime documentary film on Netflix that digs deeper into the repeated crimes of Robert Berchtold and how he managed to inflict abuse on Broberg for years together by consistently manipulating her family. The revenge thriller Huntington has seen its cast grow, with Deadline reporting that Ed Harris and Margaret Qualley are set to join the project.

Harris (Westworld) and Qualley (Drive-Away Dolls) will join the previously announced Glen Powell in the film, which A24 has officially acquired the domestic rights to.

While not a whole lot is known about the movie, it is said to follow Becket Redfellow (Powell), “the heir to a multi-billion-dollar fortune who will stop at nothing to get what he deserves… Or what he thinks he deserves,” according to its logline.

A24 joins film as domestic distributor

After rumors that the studio was attempting to land the rights to the project for a U.S. release, Deadline reports that the studio has officially picked up the rights to it. European studio Studiocanal and Blueprint are are also set to produce the film.

The film, which has been in development since last year, comes from John Patton Ford, the writer and director of the drama film Emily The Criminal. Deadline notes that the original screenplay for the film is inspired by the 1949 Ealing Comedy film Kind Hearts and Coronets, which starred Alec Guinness.

Christina Harris, who was 36 years old, died in her home in September 2014 due to an accidental overdose, according to reports. Her neighbor who reportedly went to check on her after Christina’s husband, Jason Harris, called to request the neighbor to make sure his wife was fine found her. The neighbor found Christina unresponsive and contacted another neighbor, a nurse. The nurse quickly realized the victim was dead and contacted emergency services, NBC News reported.

A medical examination revealed that the cause of death was accidental heroin toxicity. Christina Harris was a mother of two. Jason Harris claimed she had a bad cold when he left for work that morning. He also added that she was in “restless” sleep. He reportedly told neighbors that he had given his wife a bowl of cereal, the night before she died, but she dropped the bowl and fell asleep mid-meal.

In August 2019, the death was examined and held as a homicide which was followed by a long investigation. Christina Harris’ family was adamant that she was not prone to drugs and that there was some manipulation involved. Christina’s mother described her daughter’s marriage as rather rough. She also claimed to have been around Christina the day before she died. Contrary to Jason’s statement, she claimed her daughter was not sick that day.

An investigation revealed that Jason Harris gave Christina Harris a bowl of heroin-laced cereal. She reportedly began having trouble holding the spoon, and he put her to bed after that. He was convicted of first-degree murder, solicitation of murder, and delivery of a controlled substance causing death, The Washington Post reported. Jason was sentenced to life in prison.

Soon after Christina Harris died, two of Jason’s brothers reportedly told the police that Jason might have been having an affair with another woman prior to Christina’s death. Jason Harris allegedly told his co-workers that he once put five Xanax pills into a glass of water and offered it to Christina Harris. But, she didn’t drink it because of the taste. He also reportedly told them that he had hired a hitman to kill his wife. However, the person was behind bars in a different case. He also went on to ask one of his co-workers if he would kill his wife. In 2019, authorities reclassified the death as a homicide for further investigation.

Friends and family of Christina told the police that she wasn’t someone who was prone to substance abuse. Following that, the police collected some breast milk that was left frozen in the victim’s refrigerator and tested it. The results were consistent with the family testimonies, as there were no traces of drug abuse in the past. According to CBS News, this marked the first instance in the state where breast milk was utilized as evidence in a criminal trial.

She said, “It’s hard because of the air raid alerts, because of the things happening in our country. They are shelling us at night. You sleep three or four hours.”

She further stated, “You still have to come and exercise. You can’t exercise less because you may lose everything you’ve gained before.”

Viktoriia Onopriienko was born on 18 October 2003 to dental technician parents. At the young age of four, she started practicing rhythmic gymnastics, however; she tried figure skating for some months. According to the Olympics’s official website, little Viktoriia got interested in gymnastics after watching the elegance of the gymnasts. Eventually, her parents enrolled her in a class and from that day onwards, she dedicated her life to the sport.

The young gymnast stated that her profession has taught her various life lessons and made her mentality and character stronger. She said, “Gymnastics has given me so much in my life. My character, my strength of will. To always keep going until the end and never give up. To set goals for myself.”

Tamil star Rajinikanth has several projects in his kitty. The most anticipated one is his collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj, titled Coolie. Recently, the makers of the movie released its action-packed teaser. Composed by Anirudh, the teaser had Ilaiyaraaja’s track Va Va Pakkam Va. The music was recreated for the movie’s title teaser. Now, the music maestro has sent the movie makers a legal notice.

Ilaiyaraaja sends legal notice to Rajinikanth’s Coolie makers

According to Times Of India, Ilaiyaraaja has sent a legal copyright notice to the makers of Coolie for using the track Va Va Pakkam Va from the 1983 movie Thanga Magan without prior permission. The legal notice also mentioned that Ilaiyaraaja, who composed the original song, is also its owner and no formal permission was taken from him.

Using a track without formal permission is an office under the Copyright Act of 1957.

The legal notice did not end there, as it allegedly accused Lokesh Kanagaraj. The notice claimed this was not the first time the director had used Ilaiyaraaja’s owned track for his movie. He had used the track Vikram Vikram from the 1986 movie in the Kamal Haasan starrer without permission. Moreover, the music maestro’s song, En Jodi Manja Kuruvi, is in his debut directorial Fight Club.

The notice asked the makers of the movie to seek official permission from the maestro to use the track. If not, then the notice has asked to remove the song from Coolie’s title announcement teaser.

Reportedly, Ilaiayraaja has sent a similar notice to several other composers for using his tracks without official permission. In 2017, SP Balasubrahmanyam, his son SP Charan, and KS Chithra received a notice for performing the maestro’s song without permission.

Meanwhile, no official statement from the team of Coolie has come out yet.

Upon its theatrical release, fans drew comparisons between Siddharth Roy and films like Arjun Reddy and Kushi. However, lead actor Deepak Saroj clarified that this film’s narrative is distinct. He clarified, “Siddharth is a reverse thesis of Gautama Buddha. Roy, on the other hand, is a tribute of sorts to the Bengali man who inspired the director.”

He further stated, “While the stories of an Arjun Reddy or an Animal emerged out of a conflict with someone else, or for someone else, the conflict in Siddharth Roy is his own. It is completely internal. Even though Siddharth Roy looks harsh on the outside, his character arc and journey is more on the softer side.”

As the film failed to perform well at the box office, it will be intriguing to see how the audience will react to its digital release. Siddharth Roy is scheduled to stream on May 3rd on Ahavideo.

Barry Jenkins is defending his decision to direct Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King.

On April 29, Jenkins, known for helming 2016’s Moonlight and 2018’s If Beale Street Could Talk, shared the first trailer for Mufasa: The Lion King, which he directed, on X.

In the comments, one user replied to Jenkins’ post, “Barry, You’re too good and talented for this [Bob] Iger’s soulless machine.”

Jenkins then defended his decision to make the movie, saying, “There is nothing soulless about The Lion King. For decades children have sat in theaters all over the world experiencing collective grief for the first time, engaging Shakespeare for the first time, across aisles in myriad languages. A most potent vessel for communal empathy.”

Jenkins also addressed recent concerns that he might “lose his voice in the franchise machine” when speaking with Empire Magazine about the upcoming film. “When you step into a world that already exists, it can be easy to assume that freedom is denied,” he said. “I think, instead, you have to just work to create freedom, and I think that was what this process was. A friend once said to me, ‘You’ve done the thing you set out to do when, 10 years on, you could put the film up on the wall and point to it and go, ‘There, that’s where I am.’’”

At the Los Angeles premiere of Heeramandi, Bhansali revealed his initial vision for the project.  He divulged that his creative journey with Heeramandi dates back 18 years. Initially conceived as a larger-than-life film, the director harbored ambitions of enlisting a trio of iconic actresses – Rekha, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Rani Mukerji. 

In a recent conversation with Lilly Singh, Bhansali reminisced about his initial casting aspirations. He revealed, “This was 18 years ago so at one point it was Rekha ji, Kareena, and Rani Mukerji.” He went on to explain the evolution of the project, stating, “Then it changed into another cast, then it changed into another cast.” The shift in medium from film to web series facilitated the exploration of this rich storyline tapestry in a more expansive manner.

Venturing further into the details of his casting choices, Sanjay Leela Bhansali stated that he briefly entertained the idea of roping in Pakistani actors as well. In fact, Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, and Imran Abbas were in contention for pivotal roles. However, as the project evolved, so did the ensemble cast associated with it.

Despite initial conceptualization as a film, Bhansali’s vision found its ultimate expression in OTT in the form of a series. He elaborated on how satisfied he was with the current cast. The announcement about another animated project has come after Rajamouli’s visit to Japan. While there, he also met with anime experts and understood the process of making the Japanese animated series.

Sharing a picture with them, the director wrote, “I was always curious about the process and making of fantastic Japanese anime. Thank you, Rui Kuroki-san and Kazuto Nakazawa-san, for the wonderful time. Thoroughly enjoyed our creative discussions.” He ended his note with “Looking forward…” hinting at a new project.

Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri episode 26 aired on April 30, 2024. KBS1’s ongoing daily drama stars Hahm Eun-Jung and Baek Sung-Hyun in the lead. While Eun-Jung plays Jin Soo-Ji, a workaholic celebrity psychiatrist, Sung-Hyun portrays Chae Woo-Ri, the rookie doctor. He is kind and witty. The storyline revolves around their love story and their surrounding family members.

So far, love hasn’t ignited between the two doctors as Jin Soo-Ji goes back into a relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Han Hyun-Sung. Hyun-Sung is the son of the director and the chairwoman of the Haedeul Hospital.

Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 26: Kang Byul feels guilty

Spoilers ahead. The episode begins with Dr. Woo-Ri taking Soo-Ji’s hand and running to take shelter as the reporters wait for her. He then shows a video clip to Soo-Ji where she can be seen slapping a woman.

After a conversation, Woo-Ri figures out that the woman is none other than Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul), a reporter. They further discuss how to curb the situation, but Jin Soo-Ji sticks to her decision to wait for the person to apologize who spread the video.

In the meantime, Han Hyun-Sung gets a call from the director of the hospital. They try to figure out what to do with Jin Soo-Ji as it is also a scandal for the hospital. Meanwhile, Jin Na-Young gets anxious about the video. After knowing Soo-Ji has declined that million-dollar contract, she feels guilty about posting the video. But she decides not to come clean. However, Woo-Ri meets her at the broadcasting station and wants to know what happened that day of the video.

Na-Young tells him a story that turns out to be a lie when Woo-Ri checks it with his sister, Chae Doo-Ri. In the meantime, Jin Soo-Ji asks Jin Na-Young to meet her. Soo-Ji asks her to apologize and declare everything in public. But when she says no, Soo-Ji declares that she will hold a press conference and state everything that has happened. Now, what will happen to Na-Young?

Rasengan is a super iconic Jutsu in the world of Naruto and Boruto. The Fourth Hokage, Minato, created it. Afterward, it was passed on to Jiraiya, who taught it to Naruto and passed it to Konohamaru. This technique holds a special place for the audience. Konohamaru taught this technique to Boruto in the Boruto series, which signifies a lot of things for the series.

After the time skips, Boruto became significantly more powerful. He could easily take on enemies such as Code, and this implies how long he has come. During this training phase, he developed several powerful techniques. One such Jutsu is the Rasengan Yuzuhiko. It was first introduced in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 3.

What is Rasengan Yuzuhiko in Boruto?

This Jutsu is mentioned in the second chapter of Boruto Two Blue Vortex. Boruto stands his ground against Code and warns the latter that if there is a fight between them, only he will walk away as the victor. The fight does take place, and Boruto resorts to using one of the strongest moves in his arsenal. This is none other than a brand new variation of the iconic Jutsu, called the Rasengan Yuzuhiko.

As this Jutsu was performed, the panels showed Boruto being enveloped by swirls of winds. It was rather peculiar and nothing Code had seen before. He speculated that it was the Vanishing Rasengan. The second chapter abruptly ends leaving fans anticipating what this move actually was. In Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 3, this brand new Jutsu was revealed.

This variation of the Rasengan works by utilizing the planet’s chakra and rotation. Boruto can disorient his enemies with this move because being hit by something that is the manifestation of the Earth’s rotation sounds pretty severe. It also shows why Code was so disoriented after getting hit by this. The important point to keep in mind was that the opponent wasn’t gravely injured, but it did mess up his brain and sense of reality.

A new deleted scene from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier brings back Skrull Rhodey before the reveal of his real identity in Secret Invasion. Col. James Rhodes had a special cameo in Phase 4’s second series. The deleted scene reveals that his cameo was supposed to be more extensive.

Rhodey appeared in the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier titled “New World Order.” He spoke to Sam Wilson about why Sam didn’t take on the mantle of Captain America after Steve Rogers specifically chose him. After hearing Sam’s answer, he bid farewell.

But an extended version of his exit has now been posted by IGN. It shows Sam and Rhodey pulling each other’s legs about who has the better way of flying. Following that, Wilson addresses that Rhodey has begun to move pretty well despite his injuries. The scene then ends with him apologizing for dodging Vision’s beam.

When Sam Wilson asks about Rhodey’s condition, he replies that the upgraded procedure he went through allows him to move better than before. But following Secret Invasion, fans would know that Rhodes was lying in this scene. He could move perfectly because this was Skrull Rhodey pretending to be the real one.

Secret Invasion hinted that Rhodey was picked up by the Skrulls right after he was treated during the events of Captain America: Civil War. The ending of Secret Invasion revealed Rhodey in the same hospital gown he wore in Civil War.

Even Secret Invasion director Ali Selim confirmed this in an interview. Referring to the real Rhodey’s reveal in Secret Invasion’s Episode 6, he said:

“A lot of people have asked about, ‘Definitively, when did Rhodey…?’ I think his legs not working in the end of Episode six and him being in the hospital gown points to [‘Captain America: Civil War’].”

Hence, Sam Wilson was unknowingly speaking to Skrull Rhodey during his cameo in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the main characters in Naruto and known for his complex personality and turbulent journey. Born into the prestigious Uchiha clan in the Hidden Leaf Forest, his life’s first tragedy occurred when his older brother, Itachi Uchiha, massacred the whole Uchiha clan in one night. This incident influenced Sasuke later on in his life, making him strive for more power.

One of Sasuke Uchiha’s most iconic features was his Cursed Mark, also known as the Cursed Seal Of Heaven. In episode 30 of Naruto Shippuden, we see that during the second phase of the Chunin Exams held in the Forest Of Death, Sasuke encounters Orochimaru in disguise. Impressed by Sasuke’s potential, Orochimaru bestows the Cursed Mark on Sasuke, biting him on the neck. Later on in the series, the cursed mark plays a significant role in Sasuke’s story as it grants him immense power.

In episode 33 of the series, we could see Sasuke’s Cursed Mark activation. The initial stage of the curse mark spreads across Sasuke’s body like flaming tattoos, increasing his physical ability and Chakra. This boost of power made Sasuke to be dependent on his cursed mark in the earlier episodes. 

The second stage of the Cursed Mark represents a more significant transformation. A new image has been revealed for Alien: Romulus, and it’s terrifying.

First shared by USA Today, the image reveals the titular alien, the Xenomorph. The alien’s trademark teeth are on full display, as the Xenomorph will undoubtedly wreak havoc on a new crew of astronauts.

What to Expect in Alien: Romulus?

The official synopsis reads: “While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.”

Alien: Romulus stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu.

Alien: Romulus is directed by Fede Álvarez from a screenplay he co-wrote with his frequent collaborator, Rodo Sayagues. Romulus marks Álvarez’s first feature directorial effort since 2018’s The Girl in the Spider’s Web.

Ridley Scott, the director of Alien, will produce Alien: Romulus alongside Michael Pruss and Walter Hill. Executive producers include Álvarez, Elizabeth Cantillon, Brent O’Connor, and Tom Moran.

Alien: Romulus is the seventh film in the Alien franchise and the first since 2017’s Alien: Covenant. On the Alien timeline, Romulus is set between the events of 1979’s Alien and 1986’s Aliens.

Alien: Romulus was originally scheduled to be released on Hulu. However, 20th Century Studios switched the film to a theatrical release. Alien: Romulus now arrives in theaters on August 16, 2024.

The Midnight Studio episode 15 aired on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, on ENA. Starring Joo Won as Seo Ki-Joo and Han Bom as Kwon Nara, the K-drama is set to end next week.

In the previous episode, Ki-Joo’s curse mark started to disappear. When he tried to click Baek Nam-Gu’s final picture, Ki-Joo struggled to use the camera. A dangerous spirit attacked him, but Nam-Gu saved Ki-Joo. Towards the end, Nam-Gu sacrificed himself to protect the photographer. The ending showed the curse mark completely disappearing from Ki-Joo’s shoulder and highlighting it on Han Bom’s wrist.

The Midnight Studio episode 15 features Ki-Joo, devastated by Nam-Gu’s death. Moreover, he thinks that his curse has been lifted and, hence, plans for a bright future with Han Bom. Later, the angel of death visits him and informs him that the curse has transferred to Han Bom.

The Midnight Studio episode 15 spoilers: Kwon Nara opens the photo studio door again 

The Midnight Studio episode 15 begins with Han Bom (Kwon Nara) and Ki-Joo (Joo Won) thinking of their future. The next scene takes viewers back to the moment when Nam-Gu dies in the photo studio. While Ki-Joo breaks down, the curse mark on his shoulder vanishes, and the photo studio begins to close in.

Ki-Joo’s curse is lifted, and he cannot open the door to the magical photo studio. He assumes his life has returned to normal and plans to live happily with Han Bom. The latter, on the other hand, hides her wrist mark from Ki-Joo. Soon, she starts to fall ill. One night, Ki-Joo is out to get medicine for Han Bom and realizes the world has stopped moving.

The angel of death pays him a visit and states that the camera needs a photographer if it stays in the world of living. Therefore, the curse is transferred to Han Bom because Ki-Joo prayed desperately to save her when she was pushed down the roof earlier. This means that Han Bom has now become a ghost photographer who can live up to the age of 35.

At the same time, Han Bom finds the photo studio door in her room and opens it again. When she approaches the camera, Ki-Joo arrives and stops her. He learns about her mark and promises to find a solution to protect her.

The next day, Ki-Joo worries about Han Bom and says that she won’t be able to deal with the baggage of a ghost photographer. Due to a ghost, she gets arrested and loses a big case.

The Midnight Studio episode 15 ending: Joo Won decides to visit Netherworld

In The Midnight Studio episode 15, Ki-Joo (Joo Won) tries to find a solution to lift Han Bom’s (Kwon Nara) curse. He finds a note that mentions dates of Black Moon sightings. After a lot of research, Ki-Joo decides to visit a mountain near the tunnel where his uncle died.

One of the monks mentions that no one returns from the Netherworld. In the next scene, the monk turns out to be the angel of death who sighs, seeing Ki-Joo’s determination to save Han Bom. In episode 15 ending, Ki-Joo takes his girlfriend on a date and reveals that he will go to the Netherworld. The final scene features him holding the camera in the Netherworld and running while a group of spirits chase him.

Aside from Ki-Joo and Han Bom, The Midnight Studio episode 15 also features Ji-Won’s struggles at her office. Although her ghost boyfriend, Assistant Go, tries to help her, the plan backfires. Towards the end, she collapses due to overwork.

The Wolfpack documentary tells the story of the six Angulo brothers who lived their whole lives inside an isolated Manhattan apartment. According to Entertainment Weekly, confining the boys in the four-bedroom apartment was their father Oscar Angulo’s way of keeping them away from the city’s corrupt influence. The brothers lived in confinement for 14 years in the Lower East Side apartment.

Director Crystal Moselle worked with the Angulo brothers, namely Bhagavan, Govinda, Narayana, Mukunda, Krsna, and Jagadisa, for years for her feature The Wolfpack. Moselle first met the six brothers in 2010 in the East Village. Their first encounter happened only a week after the Angulo brothers had started leaving their apartment. Before that, in April of that year, 15-year-old Mukunda Angula was the first to escape against Oscar’s orders. They eventually began interacting with the up-and-coming director.

According to The New York Times, after their encounter with Moselle, the Angulo brothers eventually began interacting with her. The filmmaker took four-and-a-half years to film The Wolfpack, which is about the brothers’ unusual upbringing. They have since ventured into their individual lives, finding jobs, making girlfriends, and traveling, among other things.

The New York Times’ 2015 report stated that Bhagavan took up dancing in Midtown’s Hip-Hop Dance Conservatory and taught Jivamukti yoga. Govinda became a camera assistant and photography director after leaving home. He worked for Vice Media and only did freelance jobs at the time. Narayana was a film production assistant at Vice Media and also worked with the New York Public Interest Research Group.

Elsewhere, Mukunda released a short film titled Mirror Art, per The Guardian. Meanwhile, Jagadesh and Krsna went on to change their names to Eddie and Glenn, in pursuit of their dreams of becoming musicians. 

Following its premiere in 2015, The Wolfpack received a Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

What happened to The Wolfpack’s Angulo Brothers?

The Wolfpack tells the story of the six Angulo brothers and life in confinement. Their father, Oscar Angulo, kept them isolated in a Manhattan apartment for years. After witnessing the crime and violence in New York when he first moved there, Oscar decided to keep his children away from the city’s hostile surroundings. Their mother, Susanne, home-schooled them and claimed she “felt like I didn’t have control over my choices,” reported The New York Times.

Per the outlet, the Angulo family lived secluded from the world in their four-bedroom apartment. It was located on the 16th floor of a public housing complex in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The New York Post stated that since Oscar was now allowed to work in the US, their only source of income was the money Susanne received from the state added with the food stamps. Moreover, The Wolfpack brothers’ domineering father was the only one who left the apartment for food occasionally.

The children grew up watching movies ranging from classics to blockbusters and even indies. The New York Times reported that Mukunda Angulo was the first to make an escape in April 2010. He wore a Michael Myers mask, which soon got him in trouble with the police. Authorities then took the 15-year-old to the Bellevue Hospital Center. He returned home after a week. Months later, all six Angula brothers began stepping out of the apartment against their father’s orders.

Describing their life in the apartment, Narayana spoke about the vast collection of movies they had watched during the years of confinement. According to The New York Post, he said, “As far as movies went, we had all the freedom in the world.”

BBC stated that Govinda Angulo said Oscar had “warned” them that “everyone was out to get us.” Their father convinced them that they couldn’t “let our guard down” because “the world was hostile. In fact everyone we’ve met has been so nice; that’s been the biggest surprise about our new lives.”

Govinda added that Oscar did not let them leave at all during “the year of 9/11.” He said, “I think that event really confirmed all my father’s worst fears about the world, and it happened on our doorstep. But everyone I have met has been so kind.”

The Post reported that Mukunda claimed that when they began leaving the apartment, they “did mostly tourist stuff.” This involved going to “museums, or on ferries, or Central Park.” He said, “We never took the subway, though. Our father said it was dangerous and that there’s always crime down there.”

The brothers often dressed up every time they left the apartment. In one such outing, they donned Reservoir Dogs suits and sunglasses. Mukunda added that they “would stick together when we were out on the streets because we wouldn’t want each other to get lost. We were just learning the structure of New York. We would always guide ourselves to First Avenue, because the streets there are very easy to go by.”

Eventually, within months after Mukunda’s great escape, the Angulo brothers met Crystal Moselle in 2010, per BBC. According to the 2015 report, Moselle said “All of them have been in the outside world now for nearly five years” since they first met. She added, “I think in their case, isolation has unleashed their creativity. They’ve had all this time and they’ve learned to be meticulous and patient.”

In 2016, ABC News reported that The Wolfpack brothers’ mother, Susanne, was still married to Oscar Angulo at the time. Two brothers moved out of that apartment while the others continued to live in the apartment they grew up in. An episode of ABC’s 20/20 also looked into the infamous case.

ENA recently shared The Midnight Studio episode 16 trailer, featuring Joo Won and Kwon Nara. It will be the K-drama’s final episode.

In the previous episode, Seo Ki-Joo’s (Joo Won) curse mark vanished, and his curse was lifted. While he started to plan a normal life, the angel of death visited him. He mentioned that Ki-Joo’s curse had transferred to Han Bom (Kwon Nara). Ki-Joo decided to visit the netherworld to protect Han Bom and return the magical camera.

The trailer of the final episode teases a sad ending for the lead characters. Ki-Joo will struggle to escape the netherworld and return to Han Bom.

The Midnight Studio episode 16 trailer begins with Assistant Go warning Ki-Joo (Joo Won) that the path to the netherworld is scary. Meanwhile, Han Bom (Kwon Nara) is unhappy with Ki-Joo’s decision to visit the netherworld.

While arguing with him, Han Bom questions, “How could I send you to the netherworld so I could live?” Ki-Joo promises her that he will return before sunrise. The trailer further shows the gate of the dead being pushed from the other side, scaring Han Bom.

Han Bom and her friend try to close the gate as ghosts attempt to force themselves into the world of living. The final scene features Ki-Joo putting the camera on a rock, and the world around him collapses. Outside, Han Bom breaks down and asks, “Where is Mr. Seo Ki-Joo?”

At the end of the video, Ki-Joo falls and gets hurt. He narrates, “It’s time to end everything.” While the trailer hints at a sad ending, viewers will discover the truth next week.

Before the film, the closest that Hugh Jackman got to his yellow suit was in a deleted scene from The Wolverine, which was a highly toned-down version with highlights of yellow in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Besides Wolverine, Deadpool also gets a brand new costume in the film designed by the TVA. While the suit largely remains similar to his past two versions, it has added details across the chest piece, in particular.

Looking at the bullet holes on Wolverine’s costume in the image, it appears that the above scene occurred after his fight with Deadpool. The dome structure behind them was also spotted in the following still from the first Deadpool & Wolverine teaser when Alioth picked up one of the TVA’s minutemen.

The structure confirms that the shot featuring Wolverine and Deadpool is set in the void at the end of time, near Cassandra Nova’s Giant Man headquarters.

Apart from Reynolds and Jackman’s Deadpool and Wolverine, the film also stars The Crown’s Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova and Matthew Macfadyen as TV agent Paradox. Further, it will also feature a lot of mutant cameos.

One of the most popular romcom K-dramas is Business Proposal. With Ahn Hyo-Seop, Kim Se-Jeong, Seol In-Ah, and Kim Min-Gue as the lead cast, the series is quite fun to watch. The funny exchanges and heart-fluttering scenes between them are enough to give you butterflies in your stomach.

Business Proposal: Does it have a happy or a sad ending?

Spoilers ahead. The final episode of Business Proposal begins when Kang Tae-Mo and Shin Ha-Ri can be seen in their bedroom having a steamy night. Tae-Mo even makes breakfast for Ha-Ri and later goes to her house to drop her off. But as he gets caught by her mother, Ha-Ri’s family finally sits face-to-face with Tae-Mo after some beating. He further discloses his intention of dating Shin Ha-Ri and says he wants to marry her. Everyone approves and the two of them get the blessings.

Now, it’s time for Shin Ha-Ri (Kim Se-Jeong) to win over Kang Tae-Mo’s grandfather who remains very much against their relationship. So much so that he even asks Ha-Ri to break up with him, which she politely but bravely rejects. However, when his grandfather faked his illness and got admitted to the hospital it was Ha-Ri takes care of him. She wins him over with her charisma and cuteness. But because of his heart issues, Kang Tae-Mo has to go to the US to give his grandfather the best treatment.

Shin Ha-Ri waits for him in Korea till the time he returns. However, soon rumors about Kang Tae-Mo’s dating life surfaces. Ha-Ri takes out her luggage and tries to get in a taxi to go to the US when she sees him in front of her. He comes back with a ring for her and proposes her. On the other hand, in turn of events, Jin Yeong-Seo and Kang Tae-Mo’s secretary Cha Sung-Hoon (Kim Min-Gue) get into a relationship. They even get engaged by the end of the drama. Well, Business Proposal has a heartwarming happy ending for both of the couples in the end.

Seol In-Ah and Kim Min-Gue’s chemistry was equally spicy as Ahn Hyo-Seop and Kim Se-Jeong on-screen. The viewers got mushy while watching the drama for 16 episodes. Fans loved their camaraderie so much that a lot of them started shipping the actors to be dating in real life.

After Antifragile’s colossal popularity, expectations for Unforgiven were massive, and the girl group did not disappoint. “We are revealing that we are not natural born and that we’ve been working hard backstage. The album expresses Le Sserafim’s blood, sweat, and tears,” she said. The mini-album consisted of five tracks in which Le Sserafim explored their complex emotions and revealed a vulnerable side of the group.

The mini album also showed Le Sserafim’s growing popularity worldwide. It reached number one on South Korea’s Circle Album Chart with over 1,067,016 unit sales. It also sold over 34,000 copies in the United States and ranked number 8 on Billboard 200.

Perfect Night

Le Sserafim released their English single, “Perfect Night,” for Overwatch 2. The track reflected the understated charm of the group’s vocals and garnered over 79 million streams since its release on YouTube.

The non-album single made a mark on global charts, ranking at number 18 on Billboard US World, and became their number one track on the Circle Digital Chart. The song stayed on the top of the Circle Digital chart for six weeks.
